    Hi all,

I have a custom RobWave Satalite 5 string EUB that has some issues with the G string. The bridge on this Bass is quite thick (around an inch) at the feet, which rest on two K & K pickups. The response from all the other strings is quite good both pitz and arco, but the G string is weak and shrill. I have it strung with D'addario NS Omni-Bass strings. The bass has a 35" scale.

I'm wondering if the thickness of the bridge at the treble side could be limiting the response of the high G string?

If it would help, I can take some pictures of the bridge. It tapers to around 1/4" or so at the strings break over point.

    any thoughts or info apprecitated,
  2. Pics would help indeed!
