    allllrighty then.

With EBGs I'm evenly split, two fours and two fives. Now that I'd like to add an EUB for experimentation, I dunno whether to go with 4 or 5 strings? I was a diehard 4-banger until I heard through my rig the raw power that the low B on my fretted 5 puts out, but I don't know if I'll like the same out of an EUB, or even if I'll have a musical need for the B-string when playing upright. (basically, I have ideas, but dont know *exactly* what it'll be used for just yet. most likely I'll let it inspire me to write parts and tunes... it's not going to be relegated to your typical URB roles as I don't play classical or jazz or swing or....you get the idea.)
