Can anyone tell me about the tension on eudoxa (especially the G and D).
It seems they make 3 tensions. I'd like to find something close to the tension of a spiro weich or helicore light guage.
    Thanks

  2. I don't know the numbers, but considering that gut strings are MUCH less tensioned than steel, I guess you'd need to get heavy gauge Eudoxas to approximate the feel of light gauge Spiros or Helicores.
    But it's only an opinion!

  3. Per a conversation with the chick at Lemur, only medium Eudoxas are available, it's been that way for a while.

If this helps, the Eudoxa A and E seem to be about the same tension as the Oliv G and D. They all have more tension than a solo set of spiros tuned to orch. pitch.
