European hardware manufacturers

Discussion in 'Luthier's Corner' started by Geoff St. Germaine, May 6, 2005.

  1. I recall getting a link over at MIMF for a European hardware manufacturer. These guys built some very high quality hardware. I believe it was Dave King that posted the link, but for the life of me I can't find the thread it was in nor can I remember the name of the manufacturer. Anybody have any ideas? It's not ABM, that's for sure.

I have always admired the hardware on Marleaux, but never had seen a site for the manufacturer.

    Now I'm drooling over hardware.

The headless system looks epecially nice, And the geared bridge is just too much!

Geoff, if you RFQ these guys, you've got to let us know what they charge!

  10. Well, I got my reply already, which is good considering that I sent it Friday evening. They sent me a .pdf pricelist and anyone wants it fire me a PM with your email and I'll send it to you. The prices really aren't that bad (nowhere near ABM from Allparts).

I actually played most of the Atlansia lineup back in the 80's at NAMM...very nice pieces, even the Solitaire one-string. If they'd only put out a fretless one'r... :eyebrow:

Yes, there are prices. They take a while to find, but they are most certainly there. Remember that they are all in yen, so expect prices in the THOUSANDS (for instance, 8000 yen is $74.65).

Unfortunately, the Japanese language settings on my browser don't seem to work right now, so I can't tell you exactly what it says (and no, I am not yet fluent in Japanese; I can pronounce the words, and then figure out the translations, though).
