By custom-body do you mean a body of your own design?

Yes. Or design of somebody else.

    BUMP!
Come on; anything would do. To make it easier; I'm looking for somebody who could build a Fodera-style single-cut.

You'll almost certainly get better response if you posted this question in the "Bass Guitar--> Basses" forum. This is the "Ask a Pro --> Luthier's Corner" forum, which is mainly for asking technical building and repair questions, which are then answered by the luthiers who visit here.

    :)

Thanks for the answer; I just thought there could be an Europe located luthier who would be interested.

Search for "luthiers" on all of Bass Guitar!
Or "swedish luthiers", I know there is one thread so named .

I guess they are a little too expensive; I'm looking for something up to 2000€ or maybe just a bit more...

OK, in that case, I think JP needs some competition;) :D

How about Edin ? Great gear at a little below €2000, I believe.

    Then there is
Gareth Cooper . He's a part-timer, but his gear is great.

And more... If I include the "standard" builders (many have "non-standard styles" as their standards), I have a shortcut list to over 100 European luthiers websites... Obviously not including those who have no website... Whereof a lot are situated between the Adriatic and the Alpes!

And all this just to deprive JP of a business deal! Things you do, huh? :spit: ;)

What? Share? How to do that?
Hmmmm. Explorer. Documents and settings. My user. Favourites. -urban-. Bassi. Luthiers. Europe. Now what? OK, back to Europe...

Nope! Can't zip shortcuts! Any tips, and I'll make another try.

Things you do...wasn't that 10CC, back in the '70s? Sorry, way off topic. I'd better get back to work before I fall asleep.
