Eurosonic Ultra Lights

Just looking for some input from you Eurosonic users. I’ve been using Eurosonic lights for the last couple of years and really like them. I recently bought a used set of Ultra lights to try out on my other bass. I like them too. But I find the ultra lights Have a lot more “texture” to them. Sort of like a round wound electric bass string. The lights are a lot smoother. Anyway is this normal or maybe these ultralights are more worn?
