Has anyone ever upgraded a squier into a super squier. I did recently, and it turned out pretty well!

super squier....hmm...that mean adding really good pickups/preamp etc? If thats the case no, but I added a home-made distortion circuit to a crappy strat copy once...guess that doesnt count tho...since its a g****r...

I bought a squire bass back in the mid 80's. soon after I put a Warmoth neck, Schaller bridge and installed a Carvin pu. I still have the bass and still sounds great.

I have a Squier Pro-Tone P-Bass with Seymour Duncan P/J Lightning Rods pickups and an SD STC-2a preamp installed. This bass plays pretty good and sounds great!

P.S. I have a black pearl pickguard on the way from Warmoth which will complete my customization of this bass.
