Would be appreciated if you clarified that you are talking about tube power amp type amps in your discussion of impedance matching, the consequences of your suggestions to solid state power sections could be catastrophic.

 

At the end consider mentioning Tone Tubby with their hemp cone speakers as one of the new kids. A lot of big names use them.

I find that the vintage Jensen's and the current speakers with the Jensen name are quite different. You aren't clear if you are referring to vintage or new when comparing them to other speakers.

 

They are for higher impedances, but not for lower than minimum rated impedance.
