EXCELLENT deal on a TBC Bass!

    It looks legit, but you are talking about getting a new neck for a rare bass. Depending on what parts you can access, this might set you back a fair amount of money to fix.

    As far as I know, any P-Bass neck should fit. Like I said, I don't really know TBC...

    I assume that if you have a neck with a Fender-style headstock, you could carve it into the right shape and slap on a logo for relatively cheap. Not perfect for purists, but it would essentially be a TBC for about 200-300 dollars, would it not?

    TBC basses don't cost much more than that new.
    As to slapping on a p neck, i should think the pocket is very different, and the work involved would not be justified by the end result, in my opinion of course. The p/up / electronics on the example I have aren't wonderful either, but, it might be a laugh, or it would probably be a laugh for a while!

    A phone call to Jack Wilson at TBC might make this easy. The crack also might be easily fixed.
