Fellow TBers, this bass is not getting time from me and really needs to be played and appreciated as it is truly an amazing instrument. The look, craftsmanship, sound... it is the complete package. This is a 1986 active/passive Rikkers Bodyline model out of the Netherlands with EMG pickups, a very organic feeling neck and the highly sought after brass nut. She plays great, sounds huge and is dead sexy. It definitely has some Ken Smith inspiration to the body and the P/J configuration lends to nice flexibility. I just had her setup by the tech at Guitar Trader in San Diego EADG, new DR Sunbeams and a thorough wipe down.

I am down to just one music project right now and my '87 Thumb is getting all the attention. This bass will go toe to toe with other $3k+ instruments! I am selling it for $1400 with a trade value of $1500 (trades: Roscoe, Dingwall, Warwick, Zon... Studio Gear...). Also, please take a look at the OP and research the Rikkers family shop in Europe to get a better feel for where she was born.
