hi, i was playing bass, and i was wondering about certain excersizes. Like, I'd be messing around, and id find somehting i couldnt do. So i took that series of notes at that desired speed, and played it over and over again on a bunch of different starting points (different keys), until i was able to play it. I only did this for one night, should i continue playing that exercise for every day even if i can already play it fine, or should i only keep that exercise until i can play it? What do u guys think? How would u go about with a probelms (exercises) like this?

i'd say always challenge yourself, so move on to something harder, or you can increase the tempo and make it more difficult.

its like those 1-2-3-4 exercises, there are so many ways to make it harder that i don't think i'll ever be done doing those.
