Anyone have any cool/interesting body or fretboard inlays to show off?
To me, these are not just interesting because it's unusual to do contrasting wood block inlays, but also very attractive:
Paua abalone fleur-de-lis in mine -
This stuff -
They're on the fretboard, too (very hard to see in this pic, though)
Look on Brian Barrett's site, www.thelowend.net . I also think this bass is on Dude's site. (the dudepit)
You really want to see some exotic inlays, just go through the featured Custom Vault on the Alembic web site. Some of the inlay work on these instruments is unreal!
Dude is selling the 4 string that matches that one. That is the prototype for the vortex line and owned by Mark (sellersm). I put alot of good pictures up in the "Featured" section of www.benaventeguitars.com
Here are some of my bass that is currently on sale.
last one...cool bass. Actually, looking at these is making me wonder if I should keep it. Hmm...
Absolutely, stunning, BassSax!!! In a way, I don't know how you could sell `em.
But then again, musical instruments are sonic art first. And only you know when to move on.
Eh...I basically need the money. It's up for 1995 currently if anyone want's it
