Experiences with Squier Fretless Jazz, VM Precision and Jazz

Hi for my next bass I am planning on a Squier as my backup and my experimental bass. However, I am not looking to get an Affinity series, but rather one from the VM series.

What are your thoughts, based on experience, about the following basses:

Squier Fretless Jazz Bass (The replica of Jaco's)
VM Precision
VM Jazz (any model really)

I heard some VMs can take on a MIM Fender and vice versa but I wanna know from you guys!
