Ext. cabinet for Yorkville xm200t

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by bigcardinal, Mar 15, 2006.

  1. I want to add a cabinet to my 200 watt, 2x10" Yorkie combo and can't decide between another 2X10" or a 1x15" cab. I play rock mostly, and have a MIM Fender P with a Basslines quarter-pound P-bass pickup in it. I'm looking at the GK backline cabs to do the job (both rated at 200w, I believe), cause I don't have much $$$. What do you think? Thanks.

I'd go with a 1-15" for what you play.

I don't like the Backline series although I very much like other GK gear.

Look at the Yorkville 1-15s. They have 2 models that will work well with the 2-10 and they are better than the Backline.

I owned a Yorkville like yours for a while. I used it a few times with my old spare Yorkville 1-15 cabinet and it had a very good sound. I was using a P with a Quarter Pounder.
