I have an older brother F-204 upgraded with EMG 35DC. EQ controls (the same EMG B-64) allows controling of Mids at center 600Hz, so yes you will be able to scope but will you like the result? I don't. Seems like this EQ works better/designed for the passive PU. Or Mids of my exact bass aren't the ones I'd like to hear.
So I recommend you to go and listen to the exact instrument and decide.
P.S. Take a look at he EMG's EQ controls - I guess these will do a work on your Schecter.

Or just get an EQ pedal. Much cheaper, and that way you get to find out exactly what amount of cut you like, at which frequency range.
