That looks great. Though, I'm not sure what I have to say about the craftsmenship on that neck... ;)

  3. Very nice. Since it's still in production, a nice option that George can do easily is switch the position of the single coil/dual coil push/pull switch. The 'stock' position is down for dual and up for single. If you know you are going to play in single coil mode mostly (it's the only mode I used on the FBass... I didn't particularly care for the dual coil sound... just personal preference), you can have George switch the position so that you don't always have that knob pulled up. It's a little thing, but it's nice to have the option. It's probably easy to do after the fact also.

Congrats on what is going to be a beautiful instrument.

That's a great point. We do that on a lot of the F's that we get as well. Actually, I think George has made this standard now. I love the single coil sound on F-basses and I hate having the knob up all the time.

Actually, since last year, I believe, the stock position is now down for single coil, and up for dual. Mine shipped that way, and I believe there's an announcement on George's site to that effect.

Awesome AJ - That is the same color scheme and wood top as my BN5! (Gary Roberts - My Bass is shown on F bass Exotic tops webpage)

  8. Cool. So many people requested it, he probably just made the change. The single coil mode of the FBass is just great!

All F basses are shipping with single coil position down now, unless otherwise requested.

    What a looker!

    Couple questions:

Is that going to have 28 frets?
    Fretless?
    Fretboard wood?
    What bridge?

A 28 fret F is my dream 6. For now I guess I'll just have to envy yours.

That's the one AG. It's that pic of that F being played by Dominique that made my wallet open wide.
