    3900
    Strings:
    5
    Location:
    Ontario
For sale is my Fbass BN5 - Namm Show 2018 in mint condition

    • Macassar Ebony fingerboard,

    • Roasted Ash body, flat top

    • 22 frets

    • 34.5” Scale length

    • 9.5lbs on a bathroom scale

    • Aluminum & Black side dots,

    • exposed pole pickups,

    • Roasted Ash pickguard with Black Grain Enhance,

    • Black hardware,

    • finished in a two-tone Matte Black top & Natural Matte back

    • Vol / Vol / Tone , 3 band EQ (hi / mid / lo, boost only) Passive/Active push/pull, Single coil /Humbucker push/pull knob.

This is a show piece with several upgrades that you don’t often see. Unlike their popular maple/ash 70s style BN5s, this is a more wood sounding bass, the roasted ash body and Macassar ebony fingerboard makes the bass richer and more focus sounding, and has a naturally sweet upper mid that just sings. With the tone control(a must have) and the very musical yet transparent sounding preamp, this bass covers alot throughout all range that covers most style. Solid low B string while easy to handle neck at 34.5” .

$3900 shipped CONUS/Canada , Paypal OK, most likely no trade

Good Lord that's amazing! Good thing for me it's not a 4-string or I'd be crying.

Here you go, a friend of mine came by for a quick test drive.

starting with both pickups on, all 3 band at around 10%, then bridge with mid boost, and last went back to both pickup with less mid and hi/lo boost .. it was quick rough adjustments on the fly, hopefully this would give you some ideas about this bass.

  5. Cool, thanks for sharing that! I haven't much experience with F basses but I finally to to try some BN5s at a guitar show last month and was really impressed with the distinctive growl they both had.

I had to do it. It’s local and it’s insane. Can’t wait.
