With the tone control(a must have) and the very musical yet transparent sounding preamp, this bass covers alot throughout all range that covers most style. Solid low B string while easy to handle neck at 34.5” . $3900 shipped CONUS/Canada , Paypal OK, most likely no trade
Here you go, a friend of mine came by for a quick test drive. starting with both pickups on, all 3 band at around 10%, then bridge with mid boost, and last went back to both pickup with less mid and hi/lo boost .. it was quick rough adjustments on the fly, hopefully this would give you some ideas about this bass.
Cool, thanks for sharing that! I haven't much experience with F basses but I finally to to try some BN5s at a guitar show last month and was really impressed with the distinctive growl they both had.
Congratulations, RussT. In the meantime, check out Club FBass here on talkbass. You'll find hundreds of experienced owners all excited to see you and ready to answer questions and share experiences.
Thanks Tom. It’s actually my 6th BN5 and my 7th Fbass in total. Guess i should get a number in the club.
