    ***SOLD***

For Sale: Lakland USA Bob Glaub PJ.
I’m selling this beauty for $1950 delivered to continental USA only.
Serial number BG115, which indicates it was the last BG made in 2002.

P-body with a slim Lakland J-neck that many people rave about.
    Fralin passive pickups.
    Knobs are Volume/Volume/Tone.
Solo the P pickup and there’s that old school P tone.
Currently strung with Lakland Nickel Roundwounds--.45 to .105. I’ll include an extra set of these strings for no cost if you’d like.

Lakland (now off-)white hard case—which is heavy—is included. The bass itself is around 8 lbs. on my bathroom scale, but the bass in the case is around 25 lbs.
Includes the ashtray cover, which was not on the bass when I received it. However, the holes on the bass appear to be about 4 7/8” apart, but the holes on the cover seem to be about 4 3/4” apart—if this matters to you. I found only one screw in the case.

Markings on the pickguard where the cover used to be.
A little neck discoloration behind the F note on the E string.
Very slight divot on the neck behind the second fret on the E-string side.
Some markings (from a strap?) on the top, front edge about 3 ½”-5 ½” from bottom strap pin. I tried to get a clear photo of these but failed. They are slight, in my opinion.
Some “smudge” marks, probably from an instrument cable, on back near where E-string feeds through the body. Best photo I could get of that is included in link.
There's a streak in the lower horm on the pickguard.

I bought this bass on TB in October 2010. I believe I’m the third owner of this bass, but I don’t know its history.
I’ve gigged it only five times since then and played it around the house and at a few rehearsals.
In my opinion, the instrument is in really good condition for an almost ten-year old bass.
Nine other photos on snapfish; link below.

I’m selling it because I need some cash right now. I’m not interested in trades.
I don’t have much TB selling/purchasing history because I don’t buy or sell a lot of equipment; I’ve played bass since 1974 and have owned only seven basses since then.
I've tried to include as many details as I could for you.
Please send me a PM with questions, and I’ll try my best to answer for you.
    Thanks!

Sorry not going to register with Snapfish just to see the rest of the pics. Would love to see them though.

Even though it's not a black-colored bass, I'll get to work on that for you... :D

I should've posted the photos this way sooner; as I mentioned, I don't buy or sell a lot of basses... Thanks, kinetic, for the nudge.

No worries, and even though it's not black, it's a beauty. 1.5" nut?

    Wow.

  12. It's beautiful. I've got an '05 with a 1.75" nut. They are wonderful sounding basses.......

You know, I have been looking for a P/J and this may just fit the bill. Let me think... if it is 1.5" at the nut, then I may have to pounce.

    Nice! Doesn't look like a 1.5" unfortunately.

  16. Post indicates the 1.5 neck . To me the pics look slimmer than my P/J
