    For sale a beautiful hand crafted jazz style 4-string bass guitar made by The Bass Company (TBC). This bass was manufactured by TBC's China factory. I bought this bass from a fellow TB'r (GAS attack) a few months ago.....but found out this bass is just not for me (the neck is too thin for me). The bass is in excellent condition, no dings, flaws, scratches.....perfect!. It has a super slim neck three piece quarter-sawn (a feature only seen on very expensive basses), much like the Fender Geddy Lee jazz. If features a beautiful booked matched chambered swamp ash body = very light. The only issue with this bass which is so minor I hate even mentioning it (but I'm honest), sometimes when turning the balance knob there is a tiny bit of scratch noise. The pot probably needs to be cleaned. This has no effect on the sound what so ever. This is an active bass with a 3-band eq. Also I just slapped on a new set of Fender Round Wound strings. Here are the specs:

    * Model JT400-JJ
    * Hand-selected swamp ash body
    * Book-matched front and back
    * Inlaid wooden pickguard
    * Sound chambered
    * Ultra light
    * French polished finish
    * Custom-wound dual single coil pickups
    * Proprietary electronics
    * Master volume, Balance, 3-band active EQ
    * TBC Custom bridge
    * Matched hardware
    * 3-piece quarter-sawn maple neck
    * Pau Ferro fingerboard
    * 22 frets
    * 34" scale length

    Note: does not come with case.

    All I'm asking is $290 shipped to your door!

    These are GREAT basses. Much better than anything else in the price range.

    Free bump. Good luck, should go fast.

  6. How the HECK is this thing still here? No way you can beat the price no matter where it's made! I've bought three basses in a month so my hands are tied or I'd jump on it with all 4 feet! :crying:
