SOLD F/S GK MB800

I have a MB800 for sale that is in MINT condition. I've used it only a few times at a rehearsal studio just to try it out in a band situation. It comes with all documentation, cables, footswitch and original packaging. I already own GK MB500, Orange Bass Terror and a Markbass Little Mark II. Just recently inherited an old Ampeg SVT head that needs repair. Want to use the funds from the the sale of the MB800 to cover the cost of the SVT repairs. The MB800 in made in the USA. $500 shipped in the CONUS and am not interested in any trades.

 

The 2 amps are completely different. You can get the GK to sound like the Markbass but the Markbass can't sound like the GK. The GK has a tremendous amount of headroom that the Markbass really can't compete with it. The GK has a defeatable Limiter which the Markbass doesn't have as well as an switchable overdrive channel which the Markbass doesn't have. As far as coloring the sound, the GK gives a pretty good neutral sound to your bass if you set the eq properly, the Markbass to me "colors" your natural bass guitar sound. Really depends on what sounds good to your ears.
