I have for sale what I believe to be a late '80's or early '90's (any corrections appreciated as I genuinely don't know it's age, but it's definitely not new) Kahler 2400 bass tremolo bridge with front-facing saddles and all the goodies (instruction manual, two trem arms, routing template, mounting hardware, and adjustment tools) in the original packaging. Never been installed or used. Box says the finish is "brass" but it looks gold finished to me. Bought this for a project that I decided to scrap as I'm just not a four string guy.

Looking to get what I paid for it: $130 shipped to CONUS, Paypal only please!

Also open to trades, though I'd rather sell outright as I have another bass to fund (you guys know how that is, lol)

Check out Les Claypool, he uses them on his Carl Thompson 4 strings. You can divebomb pretty far with these, as far as pulling up, you can get a couple of steps before it bottoms out in the cavity. Also a shorter scale bass and/or lighter gauge strings tend to give a wider pitch change than a longer scale bass and/or heavier gauge strings. I had one on a Fender P bass with 45-105 strings and could dive till the strings were floppy.

  12. I want it- let me dig through some stuff and see if I can find a trade item or two, eh?
