  1. The Matsumoku factory put out some high quality basses in the 80's.
This bass has a big fat but clear sound.
It's fat but still cuts through live.
    Here's some sound clips:
I love the looks of this bass - kind of Alembicish.
I would not be selling this if I didn't need to eat food everyday.

    Asking $460 + shipping cost.
I think the bass is all original with the original case.
I don't think you will find one of these in better condition.
There is 3 small dings on the front in the clear coat only.
There is one tiny ding on the back - no belt buckle scratches at all.
Seriously, this bass is in better shape than my Warrior that I bought new a few years ago!

Here's a link with some info:

What's the weight? Nice looking bass. It's a shame you have to sell it.
  3. The weight is between 10 and 10 1/2 lbs
Tonight might be the last chance to get this one.
    I've got some interest elsewhere.
  4. Added sound clips (see above)
  5. Still available.
I'm getting interest elsewhere, so make your move if you want it.
  6. What's the scale length on these?
  7. The scale is 34"

Matsu-licious!! Brass nut? and hows the balance(neck dive?)
  9. Hi,
Yes it has a brass nut.
The neck dive is slight when standing.
When sitting, if you move the bass back just a bit on your leg, it's perfectly balanced.
If I sell a few more things, I'll keep this one.
  10. Just curious if it has an ultra skinny neck front to back? I got a 930B a couple weeks ago and I'm just not sure I'll be able to get comfortable. Yours is gorgeous btw.
  11. The nut width is 1-9/16".
And it's 2-7/16" at the bridge.

It's not chunky, like 1/2 round. It is right at 3/4" thick at the nut.
It is in proportion to my Marcus Miller Jazz, except the neck is just a little wider,
so it is a little thicker.
  12. Happy 4th of July! :bassist::hyper::bassist:
  13. Bump for a Vantage. My first bass was a blue Vantage Flying V :)
  14. SOLD
