F/S Walnut Jazz Bass

    Here is a bass I put together...

    Warmoth walnut Jazz bass body
    Fender "Orignal '62 Pickups", purchased new
    Fender SS Flatwounds (9050M)
    MIJ Jazz neck (maple/rosewood)
    Schaller strap locks

    I put this together for a Jazz bass but just don't play it, I use my P bass almost exclusively. I'm just looking to recover some cost of the parts. Asking $500.00 plus shipping.

    I can and will take more and better pics, just wanted to check interest.

    Bump for a nice looking Jazz. That walnut really gives it a classy look!

    thanks for the bump. thats why i built it, ran across the really sweet looking walnut body and had to get it. if only it had been a P body.

    bathroom scales say its barely under 10 lbs. its not light. I do have more pics if needed, just drop me an email.

    Would you say the walnut body gives a diferent tone than alder?

    I would say the tone is warmer/deeper but it could just be me justifying the walnut body. I'd like to try an oil'd walnut body and see how it sounds/feels compared to this clear coated one.
