OK, I couldn't figure out how to edit my last post, so I closed it, and opened a new one.

I got this in a trade earlier in the year, and I'm just not gonna use this neck.

It's a maple neck, jazz width, has an unlined, maple board, with the side dots at the "fret" positions. It's drilled for both Hipshots and standard Fender tuning machines. It's also drilled for a traditional string retainer, and a fancy, two screw Hipshot bar.

    It's unloaded, so $225 shipped.

[DEL]I'm not looking for trades now, thanks![/DEL] I changed my mind on a trade. I'm interested in a Aguilar Tone Hammer pre/DI, and would do a partial trade for one of those.

I'm the second owner, so I don't have the finish details. However, it looks like there is a light gloss on the neck.

Can you post a picture of the truss rod end of the neck?

    Thanks!

    Side markers?

If yes, are they where the frets would be?

Sorry for the delay, tied up this weekend.

Anyhow, there ARE side dots on the neck, and they are where the "frets" should be. I've attached a couple of pics to a fretted neck for comparison.

  20. Just found this thread - I'm looking for a fretless neck for my J bass and it looks like all my neck hardware would transfer over. Could I see a picture of the whole neck from the front? Do you know of the previous own played the neck at all? I'll have to do some research myself - I'll definitely be using flats but not knowing if the neck was treated or not I want to make sure I won't damage the neck if it is impossible to tell if there is poly or epoxy or anything over the wood.
