I have a Warwick Fortress 5 bass thats not getting played much right. This bass sounds and looks great.

Most Warwick Fortress bass (like the Fortress flashback, and others) come only passive. there are only a few that are active. I could be wrong but the only ones I see for sale are passive. This bass has a push/pull volume control that lets you go active or passive.

It has a maple body, ovangkol/wenge neck and fingerboard. MEC jazz pickups.

    Brass Nut
    Serial #: D03031688

It has some normal wear above the B string (where your thumb sits) and under the G string (where your fingers sit if you play with your thumb), It also has a some nicks, and dings by the jack on the bottom, and a few in other various places .

Comes with a Warwick Rock bag.
    $800 shipped.
I am interested in trading for another bass

PM me or email me at matt@takenband.com thanks.

Is the neckk all wenge, since it has the brass nut?

Actually only the Fortress Flashback and the Fortress RB are passive basses. The Fortress MM, Fortress one are active. I find that active basses are more common.

Anyway, if I didn't already have 3 Fortresses already, I'd be all over this one. The Fortress is definitely my favorite Warwick model, and it balances perfectly!

Would you be interested in an ESH Sovereign 5 with J/MM and piezo pickups, swamp ash body, walnut stain, in excellent condition. I can send pics on Monday if you are.
