Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by venezuelanbass, Mar 25, 2004.

  1. have you guys played this instruments? they gave one away in bass player magazine a couple of months ago, i know who makes em` Pepe Fabregues here in Puerto Rico, you guys gotta play theses basses man, a six string as light as a feather and as punchy and growly as a warwick thumb, custom bartolini electronics and hipshot hardware, piezo pick up, they are incredible. Planning on buying one from Pepe soon.

I had the chance to check them out back in 2000, at Bass Day in NYC.
They were connected to an Epifani 310 and I was really impressed.
I`ve never heard that name before and I`ll never forget since them.

However the price tag was about $2700 for a 4 string (Jazz bass shape I think). :meh:

  4. I also played one at Bass Day, (2001). I'm pretty sure ot was swamp ash. I remember it being a great sounding bass.
