A dealer I know says he would be willing to take a fair offer for a Peavey Cirrus 4 that he has had for a while. He has it tagged for $1295, what should I offer if I go for it? Even though I would have preferred a five or six, the four sounds awesome and already have Millennium 5 that sounds great.

They sell used in the $700-$750 range on eBay but since this is a new one I'd say $900 is a fair price to pay but doubtful if that's enough for your dealer.

    Killer basses!!

I was hoping that maybe $900 could do it. Maybe adding another $100 would do the trick.

    That`s true.
I`ve seen them as low as $550 (for a used one).
$700 - $800 is the usual price range.
Try to find a used one in good shape
Consider that new ones usually have a low resale value, so
if someday you decide it`s not the bass for you, you
    won`t loose much money.
