Out of the eight basses there, there are only two J basses.

Nice collection, John- it's gotta kick ass to be able to build yourself most anything you want.

    2 5 string Geckos
    1 P bass
3 full size jazz with various pups
    2 dinky jazz
This constitutes half of the family.
I'm trying to figure out how to hang the other half (that sounds morbid, no? ) anyway.........

    I have 4 more P basses
    1 more Gecko
    a Spector NS5CRFM
    and a Warmoth G4

You are single-handidly keeping Warmoth in business!

Next time my wife sez I have too many basses, I'm showing her this thread!

    Cool collection :)

  12. Before I say what I'm about to say, let me assure you that I love all your basses and I envy your collection.
Now, doesn't it bother you that 6 out of 8 of your basses have identical bodies? That would bug the sh!t out of me, even if they sound completely different.

    great collection.

  16. i was talking about jazz shape. i think the shape and look of the bass determinds what it is more then the pickup config.
