1. 2004 geddy lee, audere pre, schaller tuners and strap locks

2. p bass. $6 alder rough as hell body off e-bay, fender neck, 1/4 pounder pups, schaller tuners and strap locks, badass bridge, 6 coats of bmw dark silver metallic, 14 coats of clear.
3 nights worth of polishin.

3. 2006 jazz fretless, schaller tuners and strap locks, badass bridge, black pickguard.

 

the body was beat up real bad but in one piece. why anyone treats something like that i dont know. the biggest problem was the dents in it. for that i took a wet towl and an iron and pulled them out. sanded and primed with 4 coats of glasurit primer sealer. set aside for 2 weeks to gas out. wet sanded smooth with 600 grit and some guide coat. then base coated and cleared. started wet sandin after a month of gas out time with 800 grit and went to 2000 grit then polished with a foam pad and 3m 3000 grit polish. the color is what bmw uses on their mini cooper. it is the darker of the two silvers.
