Are there any other basses out there other than Dingwall with fanned frets?

I've seen one JP Bass with fanned frets.

Conklin does fanned frets as well as Dingwall and JP. Im sure there are others. I am getting a Skjold Fanned Fret, but I dont really expect him to do another one.

I forgot Fred of Bee Basses, he also does fanned frets, as does Ken Laurence.

wow, ok, I didn't think that many builders did fanned frets.

I have known about fanned Dingwall for several years now and fanned frets just make sense to me. I was just wondering if there was any others. Thanks!

Many custom builders will do it, but AFIK Dingwall makes the only 'production' fanned-fret basses.

Bud LeCompte is working on (just finished?) a fanned one... great looking bass.

My question, will anybody do fanned frets on say a 5 string as "much" as Dinwall does?

Dingwall's have fanned frets going from 37.5" to ~34" is a much great fan effect than some subltler 35" to 34" that other builders do.

The Dingwall SuperJ is more subtle at 34.25" to 32" (4-string).

And the other Dingwalls are 37" to 34" (Afterburners, Prima, Z).

Yeah the more traditional Dingwalls was what I was thinking about, like the Z's and the Afterburners.

And thanks for correcting me I wasn't sure about that. But 3" is still a longer scale length is still longer than you'll normally see, and to my mind is a good thing.
