I just spent a few hours learning the bass part to Could You Be Loved and i've got the fever to learn more of his work. What are your favorite song of his to play?

  3. Glad to know you're working on Family Man's bass lines because I love his work too. I've admired "So Much Trouble In The World" and "Punky Reggae Party." Enjoy bro.
  4. Real Situation, Exodus, Stir It Up, Waiting in Vain, Stop That Train, Bend Down Low, Lively Up Yourself.

But truly, almost every one of his recorded lines is a classic

Man it's all good. My personal favourites to play are.. Kinky Reggae, Small Axe, Slave Driver, Get Up Stand Up. But you could pick any tune he has played on and learn something from it..
  6. Get Up, Stand Up, recorded by the Wailers, has a fantastic bass line. I like the Tosh version, recorded by Robbie Shakespeare, too, but prefer the line Fams and the Wailers crafted.
  7. Another good one is "Jerusalem" done by Alpha Blondy and the Wailers.
  8. Slave Driver, Rat Race and Stop That Train are my favs.
