    Nice groove.

So he is playing with a pick here, then like a magician there is no pick. Where does it go? The hand is faster than the eye. Is he holding the pick out of sight? He could do card tricks.

I like darker colors (black, grey, dark green) with black pickguards and maple boards.

Somebody recently posted a photo of their Custom Shop ‘59 reissue that’s Daphne Blue (in nitro of course)/anodized gold/rosewood with clay-colored dot. Drop dead gorgeous. A sight to behold.

  6. Not sure it's my "favorite," but it's a classic that sure feels like home whenever I pick it up or play it out (sorry for the poor quality):

Some nice suggestions in this thread.

I'm with Alex J -- Midnight Wine with a black 3-ply guard and a maple neck looks great. It's a classic/vintage look and yet still kinda rare.

This "Frankenstein" parts bass is not quite done. (Excuse the messy work station.) Perhaps in the next 4 or 5 days it'll be rolling. I've always liked the early 70s P Basses with the aged cream oly white with bright red tort and maple neck.

Love the classic sunburst/tort/rosewood combo. I always tend to go for a light body color (cream, pink, daphne blue, etc) with a tort guard and a rosewood fretboard.

Just got one of the buttercream/maple player Ps and I'm trying to decide which color guard to go with though... (prob tort )

My personal Cort Sp-Pb here, I love the colours of it, I used to hate it though, back when it was first given to me the neck was an almost stark white, now it’s much closer to a light caramel colour.

And for anyone wondering why I would be using such a cheap P-Bass, it has 1970s Fender pups, a kickass 2 bridge, and 1960s American made potentiometers. And a set of unbranded (albeit best I’ve used) tuners.
