  4. Butterscotch Blonde P bass, with a maple board, but a Rosewood will do fine too, like "jwl" 's bass.:)

I'm a huge fan of the froofy colors, like surf green and sonic blue.

After those, sunburst and vintage white.

Lake placid blue with a white guard
Aged white with a tort guard
    Butterscotch blonde
  8. I love those Daphne Blue and Sonic Blue ones. Lake Placid Blue hits sometimes as well, espcially with Tortoise Shell pickquard.
I also like Black with Black pickguard as well as Alpine White with white pickguard.
At the moment I have 68 Black Jazz with Tortoise Shell pickguard which also grabs your eyes. :)

Burst with tort will always be a classic!
I also like olympic white with tort and natural with black. Black with tort is pretty good too.

+1, though I've never heard the term "froofy" before. Is that a technical term? :)

I like the vintage looking colors. Burst is classic, too.

Black with black pickguard, is what I play (maple fretboard). To me that is the best.

I also like (but would I play these? I dunno)
    Fiesta Red
Shell Pink (YES, especially on a 51 slab)
Seafoam Green (with gold anodized pickguard, yum)
Lake Placid Blue with tort pickguard (Ice Blue or Agave would work too)

But black/black is what I feel comfortable playing. I just admire those other colors from afar.
  16. I like the color on the bass, but I would never be able to get over the pickguard :p
  17. Heh heh..

  18. Sunburst with tort guard is the classic. After that, I like white with tort, black with tort, and LPB with matching headstock.
