Well, I didnt really think this would 'fit' anywhere on this site, but I guess I could put it here, anyway, I want to know who is your favorite guitarist or if you get any inspiration from a guitarist.

Mine is John Petrucci from Dream Theater.

    tough one.

I'm pretty partial to Pat metheny, and steve vai, Also , the guitar teacher at cal arts, miroslav tadíc, is quite out of this world.

there are many others but I'd say those are probably my top three.
  4. John Petrucci.

Erick johnson is awesome, I like when he does those runs 16th or 32nd they are so, so, clean.

Al DiMeola, Return to Forever, and Ritmo De La Notche (I think I spelled that wrong) one of my favorites.

Steve Morse, Stress fest, Tumaninotes, runaway train, all good songs, I wish all country was like this (its actually a mix of Jazz, Country, Blues, Prog metal, Rock)

But... Yngwie Malmsteen I dont really like, too much sho-boating and too many runs, His songs arent really thought out that well, But I love Dark Star.
