Definetly Roger Moore. Sean Connery is close second. That Lazenby fellow was utterly horrible :D

I kinda like Octopussy the most, probably something to do with Maud Adams.
  3. i loved dalton too. i just dont say it because people normaly flame me when i say it.
  4. licensed to kill ALL THE WAY.
  5. Sean Connery was the best Bond, though both Roger Moore and Pierce Bronson were and are great Bonds along with Connery because they have that suaveness and demanor that fits Bond great. I never liked Timothy Dalton and hated George Loserby. My favorite movie would either be Goldfinger or Moonraker. One thing that the new Bonds really are missing is a big battle at the end such as the guys in space is Moonraker. Or the ninjas in the name that if forget. Never say Never Again maybe? Why don't they have the "Battle of the Minions" as my friends and I call it. Those were much more cool than having an army of mooks shoot at Bond and miss as he wastes them, IMO.

For my taste, the very best Bond movie was Roger Moore's "Live and Let Die."

As an aside, I live near some of the country's wealthiest people. Sure wish I were one myself, but the closest I can come is to drive by their mansions. Anyway, one billionaire on the "Rich Side of the Intracoastal" just traded in his very impressive yacht for an even more impressive yacht. The beautiful navy blue vessel is anchored where all can see. The name of this monster yacht? Octopussy. No kidding. And it is one of the prettiest yachts in Palm Beach.
  7. I like Pierce Bronson cause I'm a new school kinda guy.

That and cause Halle Berry is in the newest movie... :D
  8. i prefer denise richards. yowza!

Sean Connery all the way. He had personality, that special "pazaz" whatever that means. Moore is second, but he lacked personality and feeling. Lazenby blew chunks, as did Dalton. I am neutral on Brosnan. He is ok I guess, but nothing too special.

    The best Bond movies?

Sean Connery is James Bond in the same way that Johnny Weissmuller is Tarzan.

If I knew who Johnny Weismuller is, I would argue that, but I don't know if that is a positive analogy, or a negative one ;)

Conney is Bond. He was the original Bond. He made Bond who he is. Moore was good, but didn't have the personality that Connery did. Connery will rule the Bonds for all time.

If Moore is Bond, then.. then... then..... I dunno, but it's wrong. (I got killed on the PSAT with the analogies:p )

    I like Q. But I'm a gadget freak of course. :)

There can only be one Q though, it was a sad day when Desmond Llewelyn died.

    Y'all left a Bond out:

    David Niven in "Casino Royale".

    I know...David Niven?!?!

Yes, David Niven was James Bond for one movie, which was actually a spoof, but he WAS James Bond in it.

As for the "real" James Bond, there was only one: Sean Connery. The rest pale in comparision - particularly the first Bond, Lazenby.

Moore was a distant second, and mainly because of one movie, "Live And Let Die", which was very good, one of the best ones by far. (I'm a bit prejudiced, a good bit of the Louisiana sequences were filmed near where I lived at the time, and I saw some of the filming :D).
  18. Yes, the first Q was the best...in Goldeneye with the sub that was his lunch...

John Cleese is doing a great job though, he is one of my favorit actors..

    "Y'all left a Bond out:

"Casino Royale" the novel, has one of the most awful torture descriptions in it.
    Connery was instinctively James Bond.
"Live and Let Die" a great movie!
Brosnan is O.K. for second place.
Too bad Ian Fleming didn't write a few more.
