What is your all time favorite Pink Floyd guitar solo? My vote goes for "Time".

    Comfortably Numb is awesome.

Also, another one of my favorites is the outro solo on Pigs (Three Different Ones).

    Comfortably Numb.

Tough call though, Gilmour has so many great guitar solos!

Funny you should ask this question, I was just thinking about this the other night while listening to The Wall Live album.

I also really like the guitar in "Any Colour You Like".

  11. Money. i used to play that song with a band, and our lead guitarist tore that solo up, and i had so much fun playing with him. man, i wish i still played with him. good, soulful guitarists are hard to come by (but you didn't know that, didja? ;):D )

Cool thread, I'm listening to The Wall as I clicked on this!

Only because Comfortably Numb has been mentioned, I'll go with the "Dogs" solo from Animals.

You asked for favorite guitar solo.....I gave you my opinion, what's your point??? That song has more than just bass, I think the guitar work is incredible. Don't ask questions if you don't want honest answers. :)

Yea, the guitar in "One of These days" is simply awesome. Actually I should say guitars.
Ther is so much going on, like the steel lap guitar. Yea, good stuff.
