    I really dig Ric Rubin's stuff. He let's the bands individual voice shine instead of stamping some kind of signature of his on their music.

    And his beard is bad ass. :D

    Those guys are at the top of my list too!....along with Jim's picks, especialy Arif Mardin...who still doing great work...check out Norah Jones! I'll add a few.....Tom Dowd, Jerry Wexler, Michael Cuscuna,Teo Macero & JP Plunier!

    I once had impure thoughts. Oh, and I pluck my ear hair.
    Trevor Horn all the way. Most consistently amazing producer I've ever heard.

    Least favorite would have to be Jeff Lynne. His productions are WAY too overblown for my tastes.
