Which one do you like the most and why, cause there's quite a few.
well I had an ampeg 100t svt combo very nice tone made my cheap MIM jazz bass sound like a MIA or better .. until I had to sell it . so I would have to say get any type of svt they are all good .
While I'm not a fan of SVT's, even I can say that you'd be remiss not to include the vintage SVT's (the REAL ones that were built a while ago) in your poll. There is a sonic difference.
Whether it's good or bad for all y'alls to decide
Another vote for vintage (1969-1979)
70's magnavox SVT all the way
The vintage ones blow the new ones out of the water.
What's the purpose of this thread/poll? Similar ones have been done many times overs. All you need to do is search for them. Besides, I didn't see the SVT on your list.
How do you edit a poll so I can put vintage on it?
I"m in love with my SVT-CL... but if i can get a Vintage one...
Whats the difference between an SVT and an SVP?
SVT's are heads, and the SVP is a preamp.
The SVT is the classic one actually (CL).
Mine - 25th Anniversary Edition SVT. Blows my SVT-2 Pro right out of the water (as well as the first 5 rows of people when I turn it up.)
I love them all but my fav is the SVT-HD

Rock on Beavers.
i knew someone was gonna react to that... lol
i did that on purpose. i haven't tried the vintage one but i know that many people prefer this version so i guess it must be a great amp and.... better than the reissue or the CL one
After owning two vintage SVT's and an SVT-4 Pro, the SVT-4 PRO is the winner.
Same here. I used to borrow an old mid 70's SVT head & cab from a friend in the early 80's. That amps was incredible. Killer tone, and more volume than you'd ever need or want.
