I forget the TB'er, but he has an Elrick SC 4 with a burl redwood top that was reviewed in Bass Guitar. That's probably my favorite (or maybe the guy with the 8-string Warr...).

One that immediately comes to mind for me is Major Metal's greenburst Sadowsky..

TB sure has changed over the years... five years ago 9 out of 10 TBers in this thread would be raving about John Turner's Conklins. Today, not even one yet! :smug:

I guess us "oldtimers" are the only ones who still dig 'em! :)

  13. Thanks anyonefortennis! I feel honored that my Mouse 30 was the inspiration for your thread.

I would have loved to go unlined, but for me it was form follows function. :D Especially with the short scale.

I find it really hard to pick only one favorite so a the top of the list is:

    Matthew E Wengerds Eshenbaugh:
    blackbg11.

But I also Love the look of a Jazz Bass with blocks.
    KayCee's new Valenti is hawt
    Andy_DeWitt_010.

    and AJ Brown's Sadowski

  16. I'm supremely jealous of anyone who has a Sei, especially if it's a 6 or 7 !!

Seriously, though, I love those basses. Great, great sound, superbly made and they look cool too !! That's the bass for me !

I feel like Wayne in Wayne's World looking through that shop window.

"IT WILL BE MINE. OH, YES, IT WILL BE MINE !!"

  17. Mine... :ninja:

I do like yours, but there are ones that i like more. The guy that just got a flamed redwood/birdseye maple one , that one is very close to what id want. put a demeter preamp in there and im set.

  20. That is definitely one of my favorites too. I saw a redwood topped SKB3006 that was in the works at the shop that was light as a feather, and visually stunning.
