Need I say more?
A few of my recent favorites would have to be:
Dave Grossman's Hanewinckel:
Jean Baudin's Hideous Claw:
and last but certainly not least, Vic's MTD:
John Turner's Doubleneck Conklin 7-string. Not a fan of ERBs, but it's just impressive.
And dayumn...that Sadowsky is looking sexy, Major Metal.
omg! I forgot about that thing! I haven't seen the completed version yet. Wow... even more hideous than I had imagined!
that gets my vote as well
Looks even better with the wood knobs he has on it now!
Yikes. My fingers would be too scared to venture up the fingerboard...sheesh.
My vote goes to jacochops' CB Bass. It's beautiful, and it's something I would actually play.
Mine are (in no particular order). . .
Joel's Emperor (actually, you can pretty much add all Joel's basses to this list ):
And kelbrihan's AJ:
Oh, and how could I forget Vic's and Tom's girls:
Who has the teal Wal, and all the Rickenbackers? . . because somewhere there, is my favourite TB bass.
Those were the ones I was thinking of as well. I'd also include Mark Beem's and John Turner's Conks.
Oh, and Jean Baudin's old Conk:
can't forget these, I'm not sure who owns the nord now but I remember seeing it for sale recently, these are from adrian's site. Actually anything that adrian has owned is sure to be impressive.
Was it ABngourmet, or somehting similar, that had the Alembic Dragon Wing. Not much else interesting at all here.
+1 for Jean Baudin's Hideuos Claw.................that things INSANE!!!
Yeah man. that instrument is beautiful. Good point on the short scale too. Maybe I'll have to go with a Deep instead of a mouse. I never really played anything under 33' scale so I don't know how the transition would be.
Those have side markers, right?
I think it belongs to Whafrodamus.... Looks awesome even uncompleted
Not quite. Check the first page on my post. I said JT's double neck Conklin.
Take it easy.
edit-ok in my first post i simply said JT's doubleneck. People could have thought i ment his Ric, but i mean his Conklin Double Neck 7.
Oops. Here's the photo.
B'Aces High's '86 Silver Rickenbacker
You know I'm right. I bet he does too.
