I think this is the way I do it... IF i wear a tie. The last time I wore one was a dance in high school. That was a LOOOONG time ago.

    half-windsor...i prefer a windsor, mahownself, unless i'm wearing my navy dress uniform...i use a square knot for that...i ain't kiddin'...what's a pratt?
  7. I have no idea what any of those are. I double-knot my shoes like a little kid still.

  10. some of my ties just won't take a windsor or even half-windsor.
So i often do a four in hand.

But i definitely prefer a windsor.
It all depends on the collar though.

Holy smokes its been a long time since i've said anything here.

Windsor or a four in hand.

Half windsors always come out lopsided.

yep... +1 here...four in hand if the tie is a little thick or wide or not long enough to take the wraps and still be the correct length...i looked up the pratt knot...interesting...i might have to try that out sometime...
  14. the four in hand is the lopsided knot. i do half windsor and it always comes out nice and symmetrical. the full windsor is just too damn big.
