I love Aphex Twin's videos... and Busta Rhymes has some great ones too... I just saw one the other day from a band called Gorillaz, which is Dan the Automator, Del tha Funky Homosapien, and a guy from Blur -- very cool animation.

But my all time fave has got to be Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer. That video just kicks ass, especially the dancing chickens. :D

    "I disappear" - Metallica
Imitation of Life - R.E.M. is pretty cool
of course that Gorillaz one is cool

Green Day makes some cool videos
  4. My favorite video of all time is "One" by Metallica. I'm talking about the long version with the video clips in it of "Johnny got his gun" My second fav of all time is Blink 182's "dammit" Nothing special about the video, but I like it a whole lot.

    other honorable mentions include

Blink 182 - Josie (this video is pretty funny)
Weezer - Hash Pipe (the sumo wrestlers rock!)
    Metallica - Enter Sandman
Korn - Freak on a leash (laugh if ya wanna, but I like this video)
Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit (grungy goodness)
Blur - Coffee and TV (the milk carton cracks me up everytime I see it)
    The Offspring - I choose
The Offspring - All I want
I'm sure there is more, but its all I can think of right now.

I can't stand most videos mtv plays (or how MTV never plays videos...) but these are my all-time favorites off the top of my head:

    Beastie Boys - Sabotage
    Primus - John the Fisherman
    Green Day - Warning

I like the one for the RadioHead song where the guy is lying down in the street - it's an intriguing idea and very well filmed. Oh and I like the song as well;)
  7. I like No Money Down by Lou Reed, where he's that robot that rips his face off. I think I saw it on Beavis and Butthead. Robots are cool, heh heh.

Other than that, I can't really think off too many, I haven't seen very many videos, because I never watch them.

I thought I was the only one who saw the Gorillaz video. It's one of the coolest videos I've seen in a while.
  12. all things radiohead, jamiroquai's 'virtual insanity', pearl jam's 'do the evolution', and rob zombie's 'living dead girl.' film students should appreciate that last one.

    King Diamond-Welcome Home
    Iron Maiden-Run to The Hills
    Megadeth-Hangar 18
  14. Hmmm, i seem weird being the first to mention Tool.
  15. Blistered - Strife
    War Ensamble - Slayer
Sugar - System of a Down
Potential For a Fall - Sick of it All
    Loco- Coal Chamber
    Rooster - Alice in Chains
    Big Poppa - Notorious B.I.G.

I dont know why, but for some reason I have two hardcore bands on my list (Strife and Sick of it All), and I HATE punk and hardcore. But i guess those two songs are different than what those bands usually play and are metal enough for me. The videos are cool anyway.

Well, you're not the only one who enjoys it! Schzism (or however you spell it) is a freaky video. It's kinda funny when the little guys bite the thing's face and they fall and bounce back up :) haha
    *sigh* I'm too easily amused.
Most green day vids are cool
    blink 182 vids are funny
I like R.E.M.'s Imitation of Life vid (I actually like the song more)
Poe - Hey Pretty - That's just an awesome video and it's a pretty cool song.
The list is too long and I've been browsing talkbass too long so I'm gonna actually go and play my bass.
Only 6 more posts to go! :D
  17. Geri Halliwell-it's raining men.......not really for the music though. :)
