    SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

    Price Reduced - $800

I bought this a few months ago from a fellow talkbass member. I wanted to check out a 6 stringed bass and also FBB. The FBB is a beautiful bass but the 6 string neck is a bit too wide for my small hands...looks like 5 strings is my limit.

    The details:

    FBB Bass #1035-01
    built 7/2001
    6 string lined fretless
    Macassar Ebony fretboard
    5 piece mahogany/bubinga neck
    Graphite reinforcement rod
    35" Scale length
    Padauk top, Honduras mahogany back
Bartolini M56 pickups w/ NTBT preamp
Gold hardware: ABM bridge, Gotoh tuners
    width at nut: 2 1/8"
    width at bridge: 3 1/4"

The bass sounds huge and articulate. See pictures here:

    Possible Trades:
    Bergantino HT112T or HT112ex
    Quality double bass pickup
    Compact amp head
    or something else?

    $800

The tone is great but I can't get comfortable on the bass so bump with a price reduction.

Exactly. I wanted to experiment with a 6 string and had heard a lot of great things (mostly in TB) about the FBB basses.

Looked like I had a deal on this but it appears to have fallen through so, as the song says, bump city.

Thanks for the offer but SWR is not my cup of tea.
