I did a search...but the number of hits made me reailze I'd probably have better luck just straigh out asking and suffer some annoyance from fellow TB-ers... I am thinking of putting an adjustable bridge on my bass (carved, flatback, german, early-middle 1900s) and the thought ocurred to maybe try the Fishman Full Circle. I am now using a Bass Max an pretty happy with the sound. What draws me to the FC is pretty much the idea of "maybe it can get even better" (and we all know it can...right?). My question is: what would i expect to gain from the transition? I know a lot of people have tried both and opted for one or the other... Any input welcome!
+1 The Full Circle is more balanced, and with a more natural bottom end (mine are mounted threads down) than the Bass Max. That said, i used a custom Bass Max for a few years and was happy with the sound until i got a new bass.
Full circle. Worth every extra penny. I've had both and recently sold the bass max. I'm sure everyone's bass and sound is different, but I really expect that you'd like the full circle better.
