Continued from # 14:
Gotta get some picture spam up for the first page!
I suppose I should post mine. Made from Italian Poplar, and with light weight in mind during the build, she weighs a nice 43LBS total. Its still needs the grills and corners and a few other small things, but it sounds just as spectacular as I knew it would. Just finishing up the matching rack case (same tolex as baffle) and then I'll be posting more pics.

In answer to your crimp vs solder question on Part 14.
Crimps done correctly are at least as good as solder joints. Either done badly are just bad.
The strain relief and/or cable routing schemes are a more likely cause of the OP's vibration problem, IMO.
Wow, 15 already?
OK. Thanks. I'm guessing it wasn't done so correctly in this case since I'm getting some rattling. We had to use some pretty fat wiring when we ran out of what Leland sent. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Okay I'm not trying to come off as a total MORON but is the Art of Noise a Fearful Company or are they just a company that builds Fearfuls, the only reason why I'm asking is I didn't see the Art of Noise name in the authorized builder's list on Greenboy's website.
So can somebody please explain where Art Of Noise Company comes into play as far as Fearful bass cabinets go.
Thanks in advance.
IIRC....Greenboy took their name off the list of builders due to some concerns about reliable delivery of the products.
They were at one time, and may be again someday, an authorized builder.
There really isn't a fEARful company, I don't think... just products and builders.
Art of Noise WAS and authorized Builder.
Greenboy dropped AoN because of customer complaints, then reinstated him.
The problems resurfaced/continued, so Robbie's been dropped from the list again.
Hey, AoN may be gone...but there are some great builders who have been added to the slate, like jHawk Customs...
Check out this sweet Dually...
Great looking build!
...AND only 77 pounds!?!?
You are correct! We are all independent builders.
Ooooooof. And Gwangi....man....I so want to get that Glock from you and put it on top of my 15/6/1....just can't swing that much, right now.
Thanks for the post Skies. Much Obliged.
And for the record- just over 71lbs in BB.
You have 3 choices...
1. Build your own (cheapest and most satisfying to build, but also most time consuming).
2. Buy from an Authorized Builder.
3. Buy a kit from speakerhardware.com and build yourself. Not as time consuming as building from scratch but a little more costly.
Even lighter! Awesome! Was this one a custom order for someone, or part of your regular stock? What options are available in these...I know that unlike the fEARfuls, there's driver options.
BTW, alot of questions answered and good info here: http://greenboy.us/fEARful/faq.htm
