well, the fed ex guy just got here, and left me a beautiful present...
I really like the body carving on this one.
Great bass, congrats JT!
these pics just don't do it justice. here it is next my black fretted hollowbody..
here's a close up of the fretboard, where you really can see the figuring...
i'm going to get new pics as soon as i can that really show this thing - it's not really that visible, but the finish is white with gold sparkles. it's really beautiful.
Yet another beautiful Conklin for JT, congrats man
That is insanely nice looking... wow!
I see that you´re departing from the natural look department
hey, sweet bass, man! holy doodle! you can really see the carving on the new one...it wasn't as apparent on the fretted bass. tell your wife she rules, but i'm sure you've done that already have fun...but i'm sure that didn't need to be said, either. congrats on #10! yeehaw!!
That is officially my favorite of your basses, JT.
Did Bill remember to put side dots on this one?
And, Dude....seriously....take a handful from that bag o' money and buy a real digital camera, fer cryin out loud....
Real nice, JT! I look forward to attempting to play it on Sunday.
can i recruit someone to try to help me "tandem "play one of JT's basses?
Sweet. I prefer unlined fretless, myself. Congrats.
Can you stop yourself, or have you totally given in to the sickness?
Nice fretless, jt.
It is obvious that you have way too many basses, I'm pretty sure you need to give one or two to me.
That's all I need to hear......
Very different for you, John. Congrats for not getting stuck in a natural finish rut. Arctic white always picks up colored stage lighting so well!
What wood(s) lie underneath that finish???
John, I normally don't like solid white basses, but that is awesome! That fingerboard just complements the color perfectly IMO. And the carving is a work of art!
yeah.. that is very sweet JT.. can I have it??
thanks guys - yeah, i'm really digging these painted basses. the sparkle finishes are really something. the fretboard is not quite as "red" as it looks in the pic, it's actually very fiery looking.
yep, come one, come all to the bass player get together and play my new baby
what's interesting about this one is that it's actually thicker than the black one - the black one is about 2 inches deep, whereas this one is around 3. interesting tone on this one, very different from my other fretlesses (fretli?).
i need a new family pic
