Feedback on my Music Theory Final Exam Composition?

    I like it, its catchy... What genre of music does that fall into?
    EDIT: Could use a bass solo... ;)

    Mike, I redid it, made it longer as per the requirements.

    It was supposed to be 32 measures in 4/4, you only heard 16 bars. Threw in a B section and it's ready to go. For never formally being taught composition, I think I did pretty nicely.

    Mr. Phil, considering it's an electric bass, piano and acoustic guitar, I'd consider it to be something like Baroque Neo-Classical. How's that sound?

    When I was stumped for an idea for the B section, that's what my girlfriend suggested. I composed the piano "solo" type thing on bass, but it really sounded better played by the left hand of a midi piano.
