I'm having issues in higher volume situations and wanted to know what everyone else does typically. I have a Realist pickup into a Acoustic Image Coda II with a 2x10 extension cabinet. I keep running into feedback problems and have difficulty getting enough volume. Is going into the PA the best way, or are any of you getting higher volume just from your amp rig while avoiding feedback? Thanks.

There's no such thing as a good DB pick up - some are just worse than others (IMHO of course).

I had the same problem and tried Realist, Underwood and KK Golden Trinity through a variety of amps and speakers plus a Fishman pro platinum (the phase reverse helped to a point).

Try to position yourself at least a couple of metres from your speakers.

You can stuff some foam behind the tailpiece and also wrap the after-length of the strings - this will also help to a point.

I've installed an electro-magnetic pick up and couldn't be happier. I use it on big stage gigs where the PA's subs are under the stage (a deplorable practice) and have minimal problems. I also use it in small piano trio gigs through my AI Contra and, IMHO, it sounds as realistic as any of the others.

Thanks for the link Peck Time. There are some excellent ideas in there, and I'll try several.
