So today the AC unit on the main level of my store quit working and a water pipe in the basement broke. It's about 9:30pm and I'm sitting alone in my hot a$$ store waiting for my hot water heater to finish draining while my beautiful wife sits at home eating a home cooked meal by herself. Why? Because this is the part about business ownership that no one tells you about - when something goes wrong, guess who stays late to make sure it gets taken care of.

Anyone interested in buying a small guitar store? I'm selling it pretty cheap.

I bet it's a lot better than working for an unintelligent person, working overtime and getting nowhere in the company, having someone in India replace you, or getting laid off through email because there's not enough profit in the dept you're in.
