I think this is a 1x12 iteration of the famous Versatone Pan-O-Flex... all original except the fuse holder I replaced (kept original).

It is in great working condition but could use a full restoration of filter caps, cleaning pots, testing tubes etc..

Hard to find information about this exact model “Bonham Double Bass 249”

I wish I were skilled enough to have at this. Is it 100w?

There were various iterations that Audio Guild made of these single channel, two output transformer, 4x7591 power tube, 1x12 bass amps, using several names, e.g., Audio Guild, Versatone, and Bonham. Original transformers, shallow interior port cab, and Utah speaker are vital to the sound, IMHO.

I know Jack Casady put some form of a Versatone in front of all that Alembic and Phase Linear stuff he used back in the day. That was the creamy sustain he got.

Just had the amp serviced locally, recap and new resistors as needed. JJ repro tubes in the bass section. Sounding great, maybe too great for my usage...
